Reserves manager Roger Martindale took charge of the Walnuts yesterday as the hunt for a new manager gets ever closer.
Martindale selected three regular first team players, Harry Stratton, Emmanuel Dahie and Carl Knox all starting. A number of reserve players also started, with occasional first team players Max Marsh and Josh Davey also starting.
There were a number of debutants for the first team, Perry Ronayne who captained the side, as well as Jesse Sidhu, Taylor Bakogeorge , Folarin Awoleke, Harvey Laws, and U18 player Rafal Wielblad.
Rovers took the lead early on in the match, with Taylor Bakogeorge finding the far corner.
On the half hour mark, the visitors equalised from the penalty spot after a clear foul in the box.
Rovers will travel to Suffolk this Tuesday for the replay, with a chance to play Wisbech away in the next round.
