Arlesey‘s current run of form is rather precarious. The league’s basement side have only taken one point from their previous six league games – a one all draw against Chalfont. Their last four defeats have all been by a single goal.

Kempston’s late win against Ashford Town last time out has lifted a weight from the club, after going a month without a positive result. Jake Newman’s goal drought seemed to coincide with Rovers downturn in fortune, so it was quite fitting that he was the man to net the winner against Ashford. He will be unavailable for this fixture after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season for leaping the fence to celebrate with Rovers’ young fans.

Grant Fryer will be looking to get back into the fold after his enforced absence due to concussion for the last few games. Luke Heneghan is also looking to return to first team action. Jordan Lee had a solid debut against Ashford and will seek to make the left back spot his own, while Josh Crawley has two goals and an assist in his two appearances for Rovers since re-joining the club earlier in the month.

Basic directions;
Head south on the A6. In the village of Clophill, turn left (first exit) at the roundabout onto Ampthill Road. At the second roundabout on this road, take the exit to follow the A507, this is right turn. Follow the A507 over three roundabouts (the second of which is a slight left turn). At the fourth roundabout, take the fourth exit into Arlesey. Take the first left into House Lane and then merge onto High Street. Be aware this street is quite narrow and parked cars can make passing oncoming vehicles tricky. High Street becomes Hitchin Road and the football ground is on the right.
