Sutton‘s current form is possibly not what they had hoped it would be after last season’s relegation. They currently sit third bottom of the table with eight points from seven games. This doesn’t seem to have affected their supporters too much, however. With one of the highest average crowds in the division, the Sutton Coldfield Town fans have had their moment in the viral spotlight this season with their ‘tequila’ song doing the rounds on social media. Hopefully, we get a rendition of it at this game.
Kempston’s current form away from home makes positive reading, with three wins from four in league games. In fact, the only two games away from home that Rovers have lost this season have been on the opening day at Aylesbury United and then at Woking, who are two leagues higher than Kempston.
Basic directions;
Head toward the M1 and go north. At junction 19, use the exit and join the M6. At junction 4, keep right to stay on the M6 (North West and Birmingham), use junction 5, which is signed Sutton Coldfield. At the junction roundabout, follow signs for Sutton Coldfield A452. Continue straight over the next roundabout, but don’t forget to look out the left hand side and admire the Jaguar factory before crossing the next roundabout. At the next roundabout, you will need to turn right (third exit) which is signed toward Walmley and Falcon Lodge, B4148. When you reach a cross roads, with Berkley House on your left hand side, you will need to turn left into Wylde Green Road. Once you cross the railway bridge, turn right onto East View Road, which runs parallel with the tracks, this road turns slightly left and becomes Coles Lane. The entrance to the ground is on the right, signed on the side of a building. There is a car park at the ground, but it appears that you have to drive along the side of the pitch before parking behind the goal. There are some spaces on the access road, other wise it is street parking. Be aware of driveways and local restrictions.
