Kempston got their first points of the season on Saturday as they came from behind to beat Wantage Town.
The two teams were placed 19th and 20th in the division last season before the season was prematurely ended.
Wantage started this game well with three early corners, and their pressure counted as they took the lead half way through the first half through Jack Alexander, typically, from a corner. Rovers replied instantly however, Tyriq Hunte grabbing his first for The Walnuts. The Freds went into half time in the lead, Tom Ballard scoring from the edge of the box.
The second half belonged to Kempston, Hunte grabbing his and his team's second on the 62nd minute, after lots of early second half pressure. The winner was from the penalty spot, Ben Baker sending the Wantage keeper the wrong way 15 minutes from time.
Kempston move from the foot of the table up to 15th, Wantage drop to 14th.
