Rovers went into this game having had 12 days off from competitive action and faced a short trip down the M1 to face AFC Dunstable.
The first half hour mustered chances for both sides, but neither 'keeper was beaten. However on the 34th minute, Jervon Campbell found space in the box and slotted past Carl Knox.
Into the second half and the OD's doubled their lead. Campbell once again finding space in the box following a cross, and he found the back of the net.
Scott Dash made a couple of changes after the second goal, Caleb Steele and Christopher Manangu making way for Jack Quigley and debutant Adam Drakulic.
With 15 minutes to go, Ben Farrell headed home to make the three points safe for AFC.
Rovers did get a consolation 5 minutes later, Charlie Hayford opening his Rovers account from a free kick.
The hosts wrapped up the points less than a minute later, BJ Christie slotting home from 12 yards out.
Rovers drop down to 17th, AFC Dunstable are up into the playoffs.
