Rovers will be happy returning with a point after going into the break two goals down through Jamar Smith.
Rovers made six changes to the line up from Tuesday's cup defeat to Leighton Town, with Steele, Debayo, Mensah, Stratton, Bakogeorge and Lodovica all returning to the starting XI.
Lodovica had the first chance of the game, playing as a forward in this game, was through on goal but denied by the Didcot goalkeeper.
Didcot's best chance came 10 minutes later, a combination of Knox and Debayo keeping The Railwaymen at bay.
The deadlock was broken on 26 minutes, Smith collecting a loose ball and drilling across Knox to put the hosts 1-0 up.
The lead was doubled before the break, Knox with an excellent save initially, however Smith was on hand to tuck home the rebound.
Into the second half and Rovers halved the deficit. Tre Charles' corner was headed home by Emmanuel Dahie at the near post, the first goal for Dahie since his return from injury.
A host of Rovers changes took place over the next half an hour, Wielblad, Laws and Quigley all making an introduction at various points. Rovers' were having the better of the play, Didcot breaking up the game and picking up a few cautions along the way.
As Rovers pushed forward in injury time, they were let off on the counter as Alabi beat Knox but also the post to seal the three points.
Down the other end, Charles whipped in another corner and Rovers equalised through Lodovica, the dubious goals panel is working over time this past week!
An excellent battling second half from The Walnuts, who will know that a point at a playoff chasing side could be vital at the end of the season, especially as Wantage, Hertford and Kidlington all picked up wins, moving Rovers into the relegation playoff position.
Next up is a massive match against Barton Rovers this Saturday.
