Newport‘s season started on the 5th August at Huntingdon Town in the previous round of the FA Cup. They ran out comfortable 4-1 winners. Their league season has begun with two victories out of two, an opening home win against Northampton Sileby Rangers and an away success at Boston Town. Fazal Koriya will be the man to watch, with three goals in as many games so far for the Swans.
Kempston lost their opening fixture at Moneyfields, but got a huge boost midweek with the win over AFC Dunstable. As a consequence of the two red cards at Moneyfields, Rovers will have to reshuffle defensively with Simpson and Fryer missing out.
If the game ends as a draw, a replay will take place at Hillgrounds on Tuesday 22 August, at 7:45pm.
Basic directions;
From Hillgrounds, head toward the A428 heading to Northampton. From here, take the A422 toward Milton Keynes. Remain on the A422 until after the village of Chicheley. Immediately after the village, take the slip road at the roundabout to join the A509. Cross over the double roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto Willen Road, Newport Pagnell. Once on Willen Road, there is a slip lane to turn right. Take this turning and the entrance to the ground is in front of you.
There is plenty of parking in the club car park for our fixture.
