Barton‘s current home form is impressive, with three wins from four in all competitions so far. Their only blip was against higher level opponents Needham Market in the FA Cup. Their away record mirrors their home form, with only one victory and three defeats, seeing them also crash out of the North Beds. Charity Cup at the first hurdle to lower level Biggleswade United.
Kempston have put the Bedford Town result out of their system and have won two cup ties in a row, making progress in both the Southern League Cup and the FA Cup. This is Rovers first game in the FA Trophy this season and will be hoping not to repeat last season’s exit at this stage of the competition.
Jermaine Hall will be pushing to make his first start against one of his former sides, while Nathan Tshikuna serves the last game of his suspension. Martin Conway will make his 300th appearance for the club if he is selected for this game.
Basic directions;
Head south on the A6 and follow the signs to enter the village of Barton-le-clay. At the first roundabout on the edge of the village, turn left. Go through the village, at the mini roundabout, go straight across. The entrance to the ground is on the right, almost immediately after the Hexton turn on the left. There is a large car park at the ground, but there are some rather savage speed bumps on the driveway in.
