Rovers made the trip to Hertfordshire where they knew there was a difficult challenge ahead. An unchanged XI was named from last week's win over Thame, however there was a place on the bench for new signing Momodu Jallow.
The first 20 minutes was very cagey with both teams trying to work each other out. Berkhamsted were having more of the ball however nothing too testing for Rose in the Rovers net.
Rovers had their first chance following a corner, Dahie heading the loose ball at goal but no power could be generated as it was eventually cleared.
On 25 minutes the hosts opened the scoring for the afternoon, a good run from Bangura lead to Blake firing across the box for Toomey to put into an empty net at the back post.
The goal had given Berko the impetus, a couple of good saves from Rose with Rovers struggling to get out; Simpson also picking up a caution for a late tackle in this spell.
Into stoppage time and Rovers equalised. Good build up between Dahie and Hatch lead to the latter feeding Baker on the right before his looping shot into the far corner found the net, a reward for a good end to the half for Rovers.
Berkhamsted re-took the lead early in the second half, a free kick was debatably awarded 30 yards out. Kerins headed the resulting ball in away, but it fell to Kinnane on the edge of the box who drilled an excellent effort into the bottom corner.
The resulting half hour was fairly matched, Rovers having a number of opportunities on the counter and from corners, but couldn't capitalise on errors that were being made at the back.
Jallow and Williams were introduced late on for Dahie and Stevens, Jallow with an opportunity to open his account from a free kick but it sailed comfortably over.
The Comrades wrapped up the scoring late on, caught out pushing players up top it ended with Blake slotting past Rose as a pass was squared across the penalty area.
Rovers slip to 9th, albeit only one point off playoffs. Next up is a home game against Waltham Abbey. Kick off is 12:30 due to a potential World Cup clash.
