Waltham Abbey make the trip to Hillgrounds to officially start our 'Festive Period.' Five fixtures await us this month, with trips to Welwyn Garden City, Didcot and Barton and a home match against Walthamstow filling our December campaign.
Rovers opened their league schedule with a win at Waltham Abbey, an early goal from Ben Stevens followed by a late winner by Magloire Muyembe secured Rovers the three points.
The Abbey currently sit level on points with Rovers, but one place above and four goals better in 8th, both teams well in the mix of the playoffs with just the four points separating 5th and 12th.
Rovers fell to defeat at league leaders Berkhamsted last week, Ben Baker's first half equaliser not proving enough to come away with something. Harry Riley was sidelined with an ankle injury as he looks to make his return, as well as fellow centre-back Kyle Lincoln who is hopeful of returning from injury this weekend. Competition is heating up in the striking department, James Hatch, Coree Wilson, Pemi Aderoju, Taylor Bakogeorge and new signing Momodu Jallow all contributing up top in recent weeks and will be looking to secure a starting spot this Saturday.
A reminder that KRFC's offer for reduced admission will apply for this fixture. Season ticket holders (excluding matchday opponents) of any club of any sport can gain £5 admission when presenting their season ticket at the turnstile. Usual admission will apply for others, £10 adults, £5 concessions, students and accompanying youth player parents, £1 children. Youth players wearing apparel will gain free entry. Turnstiles will accept cash or card.
A safe journey to all Waltham Abbey players, supporters and officials making the trip.
