Kempston Rovers Were back in action in the league as they were hosting Potton United in which they aimed to get back to winning ways.
The opening minutes of the game was very even between both sides but In the 13th minute Rovers had a goal kick in which Kacper delivered a fantastic ball over the top which led to a counter and a close attempt from Akinbobola to score but was saved.
20 minutes into the game it was Kempston that were gaining more control as there was some good link up play which led to a good chance being created and a good shot attempt from Ayo.
Kempston continued to gain confidence as some very good football was being played which led to another chance on the counter. A rough tackle was made by one of Potton's defenders in the box which led to some uproar by the fans and the players, and
they thought it should've been a penalty, but the referee denied the call and the game continued.

Rovers were still pushing for the 2nd goal with some crosses into the box as well as a free kick just before half time but couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. They went into the 2nd half with a 1-0 lead.
After the break Potton United gained some momentum as they were looking for an equaliser, as they started to create opportunities and won some corners from those chances created but couldn’t find the back of the net. They had some chances from
transition moments, but Rovers were defending well to stop them as well as Kacper was providing a lot of crucial saves throughout the game.
