The games continue thick and fast for Rovers, and we make the trip up to Northamptonshire to face Daventry Town.
This game was due to be played in January, however due to both teams having been knocked out in the FA Trophy to Ilkeston Town and Kidsgrove Athletic respectively, the game has been brought forward to fill a free week.
Rovers hosted Daventry at the start of the season, going down 1-0 to a second half Daniel Childs goal. Daventry currently sit 15th in the division on 6 points having only played 5 games, Rovers are 16th on the same amount of points but having played two more.
Our last visit to Daventry ended in a 2-1 defeat at the start of the 2019/20 season. A Gareth Hunt free kick gave Rovers the lead, but two second half goals gave the hosts the win.
