Hillgrounds hosted two teams who were looking find some form following recent poor results.
The visitors started on the front foot, but it was the hosts who gained the upper hand. Just 15 minutes in, The Magpies were reduced to 10 men, Sansom in the Colney Heath goal was adjudged to have brought down Walnuts striker Marley Hamilton intentionally in the box; a penalty was converted by Charlie Hayford to give Rovers the lead.
Just 8 minutes later, the ten men equalised, Tejon Brown finding the net via the crossbar.
Rovers did retake the lead 5 minutes before the break, Marley Hamilton slotting into the goal after beating the offside trap.
On the stroke of half time, an altercation by the dugouts resulted in two coaches from each team being given their marching orders. The added time favoured Kempston, as Tremayne Charles extended the lead soon after in added time.
The second half was one sided with Kempston having the majority of the ball, but Colney Heath still putting bodies on the line at the back.
Another goal from Charlie Hayford, as well as two more for Tremayne Charles to complete his hat trick gave Rovers an emphatic win.
