Did you know… Barton Hills was one of the locations for filming recently of the upcoming Horrible Histories movie, the crew used the car park at the football club as an overnight storage place for vehi-cles.
On this day in Rovers history… Kempston are quite successful on this date, recording an 11-1 victory at home against Letchworth Town in 1909 and another 11-1 win away at Godmanchester Rovers in 1926. More recently, there was a 7-0 win away at Northampton ON Chenecks in 2010. The last game played on this date was in 2012 which was a 2-1 home win over Deeping Rangers.

This game represents Kempston’s only home league game of the month of October, owing much to the various cup runs that the club is enjoying.

Last week’s dramatic late win at Aylesbury saw Kempston balance their league record at three wins and three defeats, Jermaine Hall will be looking to add to his hat-trick against Barton in the Trophy earlier this month against his former club.

Barton, not in cup action at the weekend, hosted the only game played in our league on Saturday, going down three nil to early promotion favourites Bromsgrove.
