Ben Baker opened the scoring with a tap in as the visitors appealed for outside. The last was doubled by Hunte with a great finish before Baker added the third from the penalty spot.

St Ives pulled one back at the start of the second period before Ayo Akinbolo restored the three goal advantage with a wonderful solo. St Ives then rallied with a close range finish and a penalty of their own before leveling the scores with a long range rocket into the top corner seemingly to end the game as a draw. In the dying moments, Rovers snatched the win with another glorious solo goal from Trialist D to send the small crowd into raptures.
