Rovers headed to Cambridgeshire for the first away pre-season fixture and last against Step 3 opposition.
Following the two home games with AFC Rushden & Diamonds and Hendon respectively, Rovers were starting to take shape on the pitch as a number of players from last season as well as Academy players and trialists were regular features.
Harry Stratton grabbed the opener in the first half, in the week that Chris Nunn agreed to sign the midfielder for the upcoming season.
Into the second half and the hosts showed a lot more pressure, getting an equaliser. However Rovers were resilient and showed excellent shape and discipline off the ball.
Next up for Rovers is a home game this Saturday against FA Vase winners, Newport Pagnell Town.
