Just the three weeks to go until our season starts and preparations continued as FA Vase winners Newport Pagnell Town headed to Hillgrounds.
Just ten minutes in Rovers opened the scoring through a trialist after a well-worked move, a low shot that beat former Walnuts goalkeeper Martin Conway.
The Swans equalised 10 minutes before the break, a quick free-kick caught Rovers napping.
On the hour mark the visitors completed the turnaround, a defensive mix up led to an easy chance.
A good workout for both teams as Rovers and Newport Pagnell will both be looking to better their league finishes from last season. Next up for Rovers is a trip to Wellingborough Town on Wednesday evening.
It was good to welcome back a number of members of players and management of our UCL title winning team and we wish Newport all the best for the season.
