The return of cup action to Hillgrounds this Tuesday as we welcome Spartan South Midlands high-flyers Crawley Green to Kempston.
Rovers were knocked out on penalties in this competition last season to Leighton Town, who eventually went on to win the competition at Kenilworth Road against Bedford Town.
All Step 5 and above teams will be competing in this competition, other fixtures at the last 16 stage include Stotfold v Bedford, Dunstable Town v AFC Dunstable and Shefford Town & Campton v Luton Town. A full set can be found here https://fulltime.thefa.com/competition.html?selectedSeason=112121353&selectedFixtureGroupAgeGroup=0&selectedCompetition=997222139&selectedDivision=0.
Rovers picked up an impressive draw at Creasey Park v AFC Dunstable on Saturday, coming away feeling that three was there for the taking. An impressive debut from Lee Cooksey earned the centre back the player of the match trophy from the Walnutters, as well as solid performances from Seb Simpson and Pemi Aderoju who have missed the last few games.
Admission for this fixture is reduced, priced at £6 for adults, £4 for concessions and students and £1 for children. Our tea bar will be open as well as our main bar. Raffle tickets and merchandise will also be available on the turnstile.
We would urge fans to use the car park opposite Butler Way, avoiding the main car park and Hillgrounds Road to assist with traffic flow as midweek evenings are one of our busiest for AstroTurf pitch bookings.
A safe journey to all Crawley Green players, supporters and officials.
