Rovers made the trip to Creasey Park to face fellow playing chasing side AFC Dunstable.
Chris Nunn welcomed back Seb Simpson following the birth of his son, as well as Pemi Aderoju and Kyle Lincoln following their absence at Cirencester. There was also a debut in the back line for Lee Cooksey, who has joined from Yorkshire based Stocksbridge Park Steels having previously captained Sheffield FC.
It took just three minutes for the first opportunity of the game, Muyembe robbing possession in the final third before putting Stevens through, but the AFC goalkeeper was out well to smother.
The game was limited on chances for the next half hour, before great hold up play from Aderoju resultied in a shot from distance which just beat the near post. Stevens shortly after had another opportunity but his shot went well over when a pass may have been a better option.
Stevens had another big chance just ten minutes into the second half, but his powerful shot struck the near post and then onto the bar, the rebound falling to Muyembe but his shot was deflected for a corner.
Rovers were having the better of the second half, Baker firing into the side netting and Wielblad's cross well intercepted kept us at bay.
A big improvement from last week where Rovers kept an impressive clean sheet.
