After a fortnight off Rovers headed to Harlow looking to repeat the result from the previous season, whilst maintaining the unbeaten league start.
Jake Kerins made his first start for Rovers at right back, having featured for the reserves over the last couple of weeks, coming in for Harvey Laws. There was also a spot on the bench for striker Coree Wilson, having joined the club during the week.
The first half was a game very much full of set pieces, Harlow looking to make their long throws count and Rovers having an array of early corners, however both defences were dealing with them well.
Rovers broke the deadlock a minute before the break, Muyembe and Baker playing a neat one-two on the right flank, before Muyembe's cross was glanced on by the Harlow defender, the ball landing at the feet of Ben Stevens who rifled a shot into the near corner.
Into the second 45 and the first half goal turned the game into possession v counter, which as we've found out a few times does play into Rovers' hands. The first change for Rovers came on 78 minutes, Wielblad replacing Muyembe in attacking midfield.
Just two minutes after the change, Rovers doubled their lead. A no-nonsense clearance from Kyle Lincoln found Ben Baker on the right. The winger beat his man with ease and his low cross evaded Hatch but Stevens was on hand at the back post to get his second, despite the best efforts of the Harlow 'keeper to keep it out.
Into the final few minutes and Wilson came on for his debut, replacing Hatch up top.
The scoring was wrapped up in stoppage time. Wilson chased a ball over the top and controlled the ball outside of the box, his pass found Wielblad on the edge of the box before his perfect through ball for Baker to slot into the bottom corner, an excellently constructed move from the forwards.
Rovers remain in third place, ahead of next weekend's game with FC Romania at Hillgrounds.
