The Rovers were back at home hosting Welwyn AFC in a game in which they aimed to get another win at home after winning in the league midweek.
It wasn’t the best of starts for Kempston as Welwyn’s Jordan W. had headed the ball into the net from a corner 11 minutes into the game to put them up 1-0.
Welwyn were already on the break again trying to get the 2nd goal, but a slightly late challenge to their opposition's player which led to a penalty which was scored by Wilson to put Welwyn 2 goals up.
The Rovers had some opportunities to get a goal back from some moments of play and but were unlucky not score
The visitors almost scored a 3rd goal with a missed opportunity from a ball into the box just before half time.
Early in the 2nd half the Rovers started off well with creating good chances to score but were unlucky not to have a goal.
For the remainder of the game, it was even between both sides, but the full-time score was 2-0 to the visitors and the Rovers will aim to bounce back in their next game which is ten days away.
