Rovers return to Hillgrounds having spent the last two Saturday's on the road at Ilkeston and Welwyn Garden City respectively, both with encouraging performances against clubs who have made good starts to 2020/21.
Our previous match in Kempston ended in a 3-3 v Yaxley, Baker, Ladipo and Slama grabbing the goals that afternoon. Slama added to his tally on Saturday grabbing the equaliser in Welwyn.
The two previous meetings between Kempston and Kidlington ended in draws, 0-0 away and 1-1 at home, Sam Johnson getting the leveler for 10-men Kempston that afternoon.
The Greens are currently placed 10th in the league, unbeaten since the 19th September, albeit gaining four 1-1 draws in that time, two of which went to penalties, one win v Salisbury and a defeat v Bristol Manor Farm. Impressive league results against Halesowen and Bedworth have put Kidlington in a good position in the table having only played five league games.
Manager Tony Joyce, "We have been pleased with our last two league games with the draws at home to Yaxley and away to Welwyn.
"The draw at Welwyn was a good performance, although yet again the missed chances probably cost us all three points.
"We look forward to welcoming the in form Kidlington to Hillgrounds. New signing Sadik Attcha will be in the squad for his home debut, and we welcome back Emmanuel Dahie and Bennie Boateng who have been injured since the start of August. I am really pleased both players are now back in training and fit, whilst adding strength and experience to the team."
