After a ten day break, Rovers return to league action to face Oxfordshire side Wantage Town. The match was originally due to be played in Wantage, however The Freds requested that the game was reversed due to a football tournament taking place there on the day. Rovers will therefore head to Wantage for our first ever visit on the 16th April.
Rovers have managed to train four times since the previous match where Welwyn Garden City picked up the three points at Hillgrounds. This has given manager Scott Dash valuable hours to work with his players, and put his philosophies into practice.
Wantage currently sit in 17th, once place above Rovers. A draw with Barton on the opening day was followed by a 5-0 defeat to Berkhamsted.
This match is the first of two league games for Rovers this weekend, as we host St Neots Town on Monday afternoon.
