A 6-pointer in Oxfordshire started with Rovers only naming two subs on the bench for the trip to Kidlington after being struck with injuries and illness.
Rovers reverted to a back four, Miguel Lopes DeMatos being moved to centre back, Harvey Laws to left back and Adam Drakulic to right back.
Rovers opened the scoring on the half hour mark, good work from Drakulic and Mensah on the right ended with the latter crossing into the box. The looping cross assisted by the breeze ended up bouncing in the box where Brian Testolin excellently bicycle kicked it over the keeper to put Rovers one up and open his Kempston account.
Five minutes into the second half and The Greens were level, Ryan Knight with a good finish on the breakaway.
Following the goal it was pressure from Rovers, a number of chances being wasted. Bakogeorge and Quigley were both introduced and involved lots in the last quarter of the game.
Into the 90th minute and Rovers were awarded a penalty. Hayford setting Bakogeorge free on the right and the winger was clipped in the box. Harry Lodovica was on spot taking duties this week following Charlie Hayford's miss last week, however the midfielder also couldn't convert as the Kidlington keeper guessed correctly diving to his right and collecting the ball.
Later on Tre Charles picked up his second yellow following a poorly worked free kick for Rovers on the edge of the box.
