Rovers made three changes from the draw against Barton last week, Hudson, Quigley, Johnson coming in for the injured Knox and Stratton, and also Bakogeorge with illness. There was also room for Brown who started on the bench.
It took all of five minutes for the visitors to open the scoring, Williams diverting past Hudson after a long ball which some would say was wind-assisted to spin the Rovers defence.
Just a couple of minutes later came the big talking point, Laws was giving his marching orders following a lengthy discussion between the referee and his assistant. The referee initially gave Rovers a throw in, but the assistant overruled him and gave Laws a red card.
Half way through the first half, Ware doubled their lead. Esprit receiving the ball on the edge of the box and unleashing a powerful shot which beat Hudson.
On 27 minutes it was three, Rose diverting home from close range.
Manager Scott Dash was given a red card at half time after questioning the earlier red card, he would spend the remainder of the game in the stands.
Into the second half and Rovers were limiting the chances for Ware, having the wind with them did help. Rovers made three changes, Cooper, Brown and Gibson replacing Johnson, Quigley and Mensah throughout the half.
With 12 minutes to go, Ware made it four. Buchanan through one on one with Hudson and he lofted the ball over the Rovers keeper.
The scoring was eventually completed three minutes later, Rose grabbing his second of the game as he headed home.
A tough day at the office for The Walnuts, who will feel if it was 11v11 then the match would have been much more competitive. This game was the first match Rovers have failed to score in since the defeat at Berkhamsted back in October.
Next up for Rovers is a trip to Harlow on Saturday, we would appreciate all travelling support down in Essex.
